Q: Are diddley bows safe for children?

A: Diddley bows are handcrafted out of wood and recycled metal. We try our best to smooth out any sharp edges or splinters but cannot make any guarantees as we can not control where or how individuals touch or handle the diddley bows. Use of a diddley bow is entirely up to the parent of a child or each individual as stated in our Terms and Conditions Page.

Q: Do you do custom orders?

A: Yes we would be happy to do custom orders to the best of our ability. You can send us serving dishes to turn into diddley bows or request other custom items. Half of the final price would be required before beginning your project. Custom orders will be done in the order we receive them. How long it will take depends on how many orders are ahead of yours. I will let you know that I will be starting your order a week before I do. Generally orders will take 2-7 business days to complete depending on the size of the project.

Artist’s interpretation of the request will obviously result in varied degrees of what the customer has envisioned. Please keep in mind it is impossible to see what you envision perfectly. There are also variables that the artist must work with and go with the flow as part of the creative process. I never know exactly how something is going to turn out! When I begin a project it is and idea and progresses from there.
